Radio Daze were formed in 2004, two guitarists David Ahmed and Faebhean Kwest, met down L'Quecumber in Battersea, on the Gypsy Jam Session night, realised they liked playing together. Sylvie Rushbrooke (proprietor of L'Quecumbar) thought up the name for them!.... They both share an interest in early Jazz and American Swing, as well as the Hotclub style of Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grapelli.

They have been playing mainly around the West End, Chelsea + L'Quecumbar and other specialist clubs/concerts, as well as private parties in Britain and abroad (they're very big in L'Havre France!! And have even a following in Japan and Australia!). Not strictly a Gypsy jazz duo, tending to specialise in songs and melodies of the 1920's and 1930's they do look up to such diverse talents as Eddie Lang, Oscar Aleman and Carl Cress, Al Bowly and Bugs Berrigan, plus the modern Gypsy players such as Angelo d'Barre, Lollo Meier and Tcha Limberger.

'Special Broadcast 2005' is their first CD and it was influenced in recording style by the Washburn Blues/Jass studios of the 1920's. More original material and ideas are to come!!
